viewing the street
January 26th, 2009the google maps street view is a pretty good time…I’ve used it to check parking signs to see what day I need to move my car, look at apartment buildings, scout locations where we’re going to shoot…
but the best thing about the street view is that it also captures moments like this…

Unbelievable! I’ve been waiting to see something like this since I discovered the fascinating street view a month or so ago. Around here, all i can get is the highway but I’m sure Google’s mapbots eventually will get around to the side streets here and I’ll be able to find local street scenes such as this. To dream…
