That pizza was pretty damn good. I know pizza snobs look down on Chicago deep dish as somehow being not a real pizza, but lemme tell you, as someone who only has one a year: a., that is real pizza. b., it was amazing.
The next day we went to the German part of town and had lunch in the Brauhaus where we had brats, beer and some of the best sauerkraut I’ve ever tasted. It was like we entered a magical land all unto itself…
